Stoneware, hand-painted raised relief decoration. The three panels on this
stein each feature a castle from the life of King Ludwig II. Farthest to the
left is Hohenscwangau Castle where Ludwig spent his early years; in the middle
is Neuschwanstein Castle, Ludwig's most famous castle; and to the far right we
have Linderhof Castle, the only castle actually completed during Ludwig's
lifetime. This finely detailed stein features gold accents along the bulbed
bottom and a border of small swans across the top. A conical pewter lid
completes the stein. Limited edition of 10,000 pieces.
