Stoneware, hand painted raised relief decoration with gold leaf accents. The main scene of this stein is a quiet winter night view of the Hofbräuhaus in München bordered with edelweiss. To the left of the portrait is a woman dancing with a banner underneath reading, "bleibt jung das Herz," translated as, "Stay young at heart." To the right is a man dancing with a banner underneath reading, "Bei Tanz und Scherz," translated as, "with good times and dancing." An antiqued conical pewter lid completes the piece.
