The top & bottom of this stein’s black glazed body are each decorated with 2 hand painted gold-leaf bands. But the focal point of this stein is the raised-relief pewter band in the center. Three separately cast deep relief pewter lion heads, withrings in their mouths,areattached to the pewterband. A wrap-around pewter border decoration of eagles, serpents and lions completes the body design. On top of the ornate pewter lid is a pewter winged lion figurine, made by Gallo, USA. This stein is produced in a worldwide edition limit of 5,000 pieces. Each piece is registered & individually numbered.
