This stoneware, natural glazed stein features detailed design of a fireman's crest with a fireman fighting a fire to the left and an fireman sounding the alarm on the right. Over the crest are the words, "Die Jahrhunderte vergehen-ein Bedanke bleibt bestehen," translated as, "Centuries have past-Ever thankful." Along the bottom of the design are the words, "Helfen in Not ist unser Gebot," translated as, "Our motto is to help in emergencies." A fireman pewter figurine serves as the thumblift and a red faceted plastic gem is fixed to the ornamental pewter lid.
