Stoneware, raised-relief and applied decoration. A pewter relief three-panel mural of Seraphim angels wraps around the entire stein’s black glazed stoneware body. Three separately cast pewter angel heads with gold-leaf wings are applied along the stein’s flared base. On top of the ornate pewter lid is a pewter figurine of Michael the Archangel in full armor with gold highlighted wings, sword and shield. Handpainted gold-leaf bands complete the body decoration. Limited edition of 5,000 pieces. Each piece is registered and individually numbered.
